Coyotes to Hold Coyote Fest 09-Canned Food & Diaper Drive for the Army National Guard Food Bank

The Central Valley Coyotes arena football organization will be hosting “Coyote Fest ‘08”, Saturday, July 19 at the Save Mart Center before their game against the Boise Burn. The doors will open at 4 p.m. and game kick-off is at 7 p.m.

The festivities include: a Canned Food and Diaper Drive benefiting the families of the Fresno Army National Guard, a Blood Drive which will aid local hospitals in need, a motorcycle show and fan-voting contest, appearances by the Raiderettes and the Barbarian from the Raiders’ black hole.

The Fresno Army National Guard Food Banks pantries are running low, they need the community’s help to support the families of the men and women that are currently serving our country proudly. All donated items will help those living in the central valley. Anyone wishing to donate a non-perishable food item or diapers will receive a discounted ticket to the Coyotes football game taking place that night at 7pm.

The Bike Show contest will take place around the Save Mart Center concourse and top voted bike owners will receive an award at halftime. Anyone interested in entering their bike can contact the Coyotes at 263-9780; entry fee is $10. Click here for more info (PDF)

As part of Coyote Fest ’08 any fan wearing Silver and Black in honor of “Raider Nation” will receive a $10 arena level seat (normally $24). The Coyotes will be attempting to recreate the “Black Hole” at Save Mart Center so show your colors.
