Susie Hansen, electrical violinist, and her sizzling, swinging salsa band from Los Angeles open the Plaza season with our traditional Latin Jazz concert. Hansen combines her own interpretation of traditional Cuban-charanga, Afro-Cuban, and straight-ahead jazz.

Pedro Infante
(1917-1957)
Pedro Infante was perhaps the most famous actor and singer
of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, and he is still an idol
of the Mexican people. Tonight, Mariachi Tenochtitlan and guest artists, pay tribute to him with
the songs he made famous.
